Its really sad to hear about what had happened to the mother eagle on the Norfolk eagle cam http://www.norfolkbotanicalgarden.org/e-community/eagle-cam this explains what had happend on April 26,2011. I think my parents had said that they have moved the eagle cam and decided to shut it down since the father would only drop the food in the nest every so often and fly away so I think they turned it off but who knows for sure I dont know. The 3 surviving eaglets were removed from the nest and sent to a wildlife center of virginia to be raised and released once they are older.
